On Wednesday November 2, Project World Health, along with Kaplan and the US Army, held a suture clinic for undergraduate Pre-health students. Kaplan presented information on the new MCAT and admissions timelines, and Major Christopher Maginn from the US Army presented information on the Health Professions Scholarship Program. The students then received world class instruction on suturing from retired surgeon Dr. Kenneth Courington, who graciously volunteered his time for the event. We were able to raise over $700 from the event, and we hope to hold another event like this in the Spring.
On December 3, we will be having a golf tournament at The Eagles Golf Club in Odessa, FL. Our fundraising goal for this event is to have 18 Foursomes for 18 holes. Participation in this event will include 18 holes of golf, a gourmet buffet lunch, and an opportunity to win items through our drawing of chance.

Our PWH Gala event was a resounding success! Our generous donors raised over $4000 for supplies and supporting our annual trip! We had an amazing time at CAMLS with entertainment provided by the Say Ahh-Capella group and delicious hors d’oeuvres.
Thank you to all our esteemed guests and volunteers who helped support PWH.
